That is quite a long time, but the past two years have been two of the craziest of my life. I completed three tedious semesters of college at University of Arkansas Little Rock (straight 4.0 GPA all the way through!!), Jon and I experienced two exciting years at the Little Rock Air Force Base, and got to spend time with wonderful family. The past two years also had extremely rough times as well, with the loss of my Dad to cancer.... and also with being apart from Jon while he was deployed for close to 8 months.
Through all of these ups and downs in life, my love for Jon has continued to grow and we are continually blown away with how God has blessed us. We seem to keep falling deeper and deeper in love and I can't see how that is even possible;) In October we will celebrate 3 years of marriage! I can't believe it has gone by so fast!!
We celebrated our first year anniversary by going to Disney World for a week. (A surprise from Jon) and another surprise trip to New York City. I think Jon soon found out that I LOVE to travel. ;) However, we are thinking about starting a family soon and I don't know how much time we will have to do that anymore lol so I'm glad we are getting that out of the way before we settle down for a bit. I am SO looking forward to having a family though and once I do, I wouldn't trade that for a million trips across the world;)
I am sitting in a big empty apartment right now, admiring how pretty the green foliage is out the window and reminiscing on the fun times we've had in AR. I have gotten to see my beautiful nieces and adorable nephew grow....be born....and celebrate milestones such as walking and talking and I am the luckiest Aunt for being able to spend that time with them. They are all so precious to me and I will miss them more than words can tell.
Jon and I are moving back to Colorado since he is getting out of the military, and plan on settling down there. It is a bittersweet moment due to the fact that I will be leaving behind family, but also joining family. I have a feeling Southwest Airlines will be getting a lot of our business over the next few holidays!!! haha;)
Since we are moving before I was going to graduate from UALR I transferred to an online University called Western Governors University. It has been one of the BEST decisions I have ever made. Not only will I get done a year before I would have been able to with UALR, I also get to travel the world at the same time! How cool is that huh? It has been nice to move as fast as I want, which allows me to complete feats such as finishing 27 credits in one semester:) This month alone I finished 16...whoo hoo;)
I am getting my degree in Early Childhood Education birth through 3rd Grade. I cannot even begin to tell you how glad I am that I chose teaching as my profession. I LOVE the kids and being in a learning environment that allows children to grow and learn. SO FUN!
One of the most exciting things in my life coming up is getting to travel to Korea and Hawaii this summer. We leave for Colorado in 5 days and after that leave for Korea on the 17th of May. I CAN'T WAIT! We will be there a month and two weeks and then we will be in Hawaii for a week.
Seoul, Korea

Time to get a tan right?:) I told Jon I needed a new bathing suit and he encouraged me to wait till we get to Korea because supposedly they have the BEST shopping ever, and everything is WAY cheaper. Nice huh?
- one of the things I'm looking forward to most...the amazing food.

So between, traveling the world, getting out of the military, packing, school, student teaching coming up, my content exam for my teaching license, finding a new house and car when we get back to Colorado....and a MILLION other things...I am going to be one busy girl...
Except for in Hawaii....right? That is just a time for pure relaxation...Our only plans for the week will be drinking cocktails by the pool and sleeping on the beach. Oh and of course eating pineapple and other sorts of Hawaiian food;)
These are pictures from the hotel
we will be staying at.

Well, this was an extremely long catch-up blog haha but I had to start somewhere. Here's to actually keeping up with it and sticking to it!

Way to go, Sass! That was a great summary. I loved the music- while it played I had many beautiful memories float through my mind of you and all the things we've been through together the last few years. We will sure miss you and Uncle Jon. Have a lovely time on your trip overseas!
