Hey Hey! My name is Catherine Lee. I am a born and raised southern gal from AR that is now turned into a Colorado-an! I am a 2nd grade teacher and love my job more than anything! I am deeply in love with my husband Jonathan. He is Half-Korean and we hope to have some little quarter Koreans someday soon;) I love life and know that in Christ I can be truly content and can truly show His light and love.

Reunions and Restaurants

Last night I had the pleasure of meeting one of Jon's cousins that is from Australia! They haven't seen each other in over 23 years, so it was a sweet reunion. We took her on the U.S Air Force Base and gave her a tour and then Jim and Chansoon took us to the most unique restaurant I've ever been to. It was located way out in the country of Songtan and the name of it was Italiano. The feel of the place was supposed to be of Europe but the food was mostly Korean with a mix of Italian I believe.

It really was a charming place with beautiful trees surrounding it. The food was of course excellent as well;)

Bulgogi, Rice, and Soup
Bulgogi is a Korean beef dish (SO good)

Fish (not sure what kind)

A chicken dish
(As you can see, there are silverware.
One of the European aspects of the restaurant) ;)

Squid and Sushi (don't know if Squid and I get along that well
together lol)

Cheers to family!

Chansoon and Julie going over the Seoul
Subway map, Jon exhausted and quite full, and
Jim messing with his iPhone
which is fitting;)

All their flowers were real and just breathtakingly beautiful!
(All of us were SO full lol)
I've never eaten so much in my life.

I loved the entry driveway...It reminded me of something in a
fairytale...

Rice Fields!! There seems to be an abundance of those;)
Well I have to stop blogging and go get ready because this Afternoon we are going to Seoul!!!!! The capital of Korea;) Jim and Chansoon are going to show us how to use the subway system so we can travel on our own when they are at work. I can't wait.... 1) I like travel 2) I hate big cities....haha JK...I love them:)
